This San Francisco sectional sofa (or sofa + ottoman) is really good quality. It looks great both ways, either as a sectional or set of sofa plus ottoman (I'm using it separately). The piece is solid, stable... no doubts it's been very well built. I actually love its black-matte looks, it totally gives my living room the elegant touch I was looking for.

The leatherette material feels very soft and gentle. I sat there without a shirt, and it's much better than many leather sofas I've tried in the past.

So far, the lower cushions have kept its original shape, they are not deformed whatsoever. Zero wrinkles, wonderful. The cushions on the back... well, I might not say exactly the same -they have slightly lost some shape and got a few wrinkles here and there as people lean back (every couple of weeks or so I leave them under something rather heavy and flat for a few hours, while I'm out of the house, to get them back in shape). It would have been great to have all cushions manufactured the same way. This could be the reason why of my 4-star rating.

Another detail I always look at here: seams. In this case, they are all absolutely neat, aligned and parallel to what they were supposed to be. In most cases, just by carefully looking at the seams you can get a glimpse of the quality of things like these. Seams in white would have been a delicate detail, but that's alright.

Last... putting it all together is quick and easy, you only need to screw the tiny legs in the bottom (which come inside the sofa... yes, inside!).

Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase.
